George Fitzgerald - Burns

I've been into ol' George since he released Full Circle from his album Faded Love, 10 years ago. Muted, melodic, meditative - it felt like a bit of a more introspective spin on what was out there at the time. I was lucky enough to see him play very recently at Pikes in Ibiza, one of my favourite favourite venues (the kind of brilliant place that has baned phones/photography resulting in a vibe without inhibition). Without getting too gushy, it was the best set I have ever seen. Cramped into the tiny main room at Pikes, sweat dripping from the ceiling, George generated an unparalleled feeling of euphoria. This was his closing track - already special and all the more so after that night. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Cheers George 🙂
