OLIVE

This track, You're Not Alone, by Olive was released when I was a young nipper at school. Absurdly cool, absurdly melodic and yet.........absurdly simple. Those synth chords and the harmonies on the vocals hit in such a distinctive way - probably the first bit of trip hop I'd listened to. It was later remixed by many - Oakenfold, Roni Size, Nightmares on Wax. A reviewer from the reliable Sunday Mirror described it brilliantly as "a pearler of a club monster." Spot on. Such is my love for this track, I made a cover video of it - on my insta page 🙂
